Is this kind of syntax allowed in the resource. Can I just add the following to my resource.cfg: Priority 999 I have three folders, Gameplay_LUUMIA, CAS_LUUMIA and Graphics_LUUMIA. Would I have to add to my resource.cfg the following:Īnd let's assume I want to prioritize content created by LUUMIA so if there is any conflict with different CC, LUUMIA's mods would have a higher priority and would override other CC. Let's assume that I have a folder named "PRIO". The result should be the CAS background of package2 with the lighting of package1. Then I have a package2 that ONLY changes the background in CAS. Say for example, I have package1 that makes lighting in CAS softer AND changes the background in CAS. The problem I am facing is that I want to add priorities to packages that potentially override each other in parts so that the game knows which package should be prioritized. I already added two lines to it to search for packages that are more than 5 levels deep in the structure. I am also aware of how the resource.cfg file works in its default state. I am already starting to sort the package files in different folders. Hope someone in the future will find this for your answer. Packages that have the same priority and are in the same folder are sorted by alphabet, starting with special characters, then numerics (0-9), then letters (a-z). Packages that are placed one folder deep are prioritized over ones that are placed two, three, etc. Packages that have the same priority are sorted by how deep in the file structure they are put. All packages files get assigned the highest matching priority from the resource.cfg.Ģ. Packages with higher priority override lower priority packages.ġ. However, if you assign a priority of 999 to the folder "2-Graphics" via the resource.cfg, then it will override the CAS folder if needed. If folders "1-CAS" and "2-Graphics" are created, the CAS items will override the graphics packages if needed. I also discovered, that after sorting by resource.cfg priority, the package files are prioritized by alphabet. I have used this procedure to fix some graphics-mods and default-CAS-override problems in the last few months. Information, Guides and Announcements for the EA appĪfter months of testing I can confirm that one can indeed set priorities in the resource.cfg for different paths. Not sure where to find mods and CC for The Sims Medieval? This value is multiplied by an activity factor (generally 1.2-1.95) dependent on a person's typical levels of exercise, which accounts for times during the day when a person is not at rest. The value obtained from these equations is the estimated number of calories a person can consume in a day to maintain their body-weight, assuming they remain at rest. The three equations used by the calculator are listed below: Of these equations, the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation is considered the most accurate equation for calculating BMR with the exception that the Katch-McArdle Formula can be more accurate for people who are leaner and know their body fat percentage. The Katch-McArdle Formula is slightly different in that it calculates resting daily energy expenditure (RDEE), which takes lean body mass into account, something that neither the Mifflin-St Jeor nor the Harris-Benedict Equation do. The Mifflin-St Jeor Equation also calculates BMR, and has been shown to be more accurate than the revised Harris-Benedict Equation. It was revised in 1984 to be more accurate and was used up until 1990, when the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation was introduced. The Harris-Benedict Equation was one of the earliest equations used to calculate basal metabolic rate (BMR), which is the amount of energy expended per day at rest. This Calorie Calculator is based on several equations, and the results of the calculator are based on an estimated average. Tomorrow (hopefully) I will have time to tap the AudioControl DSP into the factory signal wires at the amp. If you do remove it, you will lose audio notifications (door chime, backup sensor warning, etc.) They stated that one should NEVER integrate their DSP by tapping into the signal wires before the factory amplifier, nor should one remove the factory amplifier. I also called AudioControl to hear what they recommend when it comes to integrating the DSP. Tonight, I removed the B&O subwoofer enclosure behind the rear seat and scoped out the wiring from the B&O amplifier/ DSP. So, if you are thinking of swapping speakers for better sound, save your money. This is due to two things the factory B&O DSP and the Rockford speakers being under powered. I will comment here: after swapping all of the speakers, the sound was actually worse than factory. I had to drill out the Rockford speaker mounting holes to get the adapters to line up, but overall, it was an easy swap. I soldered all of my connections and used heat shrink to cover the wires back up. It was dark and about 12 degree's outside when I started the install, I was frozen and frustrated, so I didn't take any photos. $0.00 Metra 82-5605 Rear Speaker Adapters (Crutchfield Freebie)Īll of my parts were delivered on, I have replaced all of the factory speakers so far (only broke one clip and snapped one bolt ). $0.00 Metra 82-5607 Front Speaker Adapters (Crutchfield Freebie) $39.99 Rockford Fosgate Prime R1675X2 6-3/4" 2 Way Speakers (Rear Doors) $69.99 Rockford Fosgate Prime R1675-S 6/3/4" Component System (Front Doors & Pillars) $239.98 Rockford Fosgate P2D4-8 (x2) Subwoofers $112.49 Rockford Fosgate RFK4D Dual Amplifier Wiring Kit $60.98 Rockford Fosgate PLC2 (x2) Remote Level Controllers $349.99 Rockford Fosgate T400X4AD (Door Speakers) $539.99 AudioControl DM-608 Digital Signal Processor) I was running a PAC line Converter, 5 channel amplifier, Kappa door speakers front and rear (not component), and a 10" subwoofer in a sealed center console enclosure.įor some people the B&O system my be good enough, for the other 99.9% that want to upgrade, here's my parts list from. Let me say, it will be very hard to go back to any factory stereo after my last truck. My last truck was a 2009 XLT that I installed a complete Infinity Kappa sound system in. If I had to guess, I would say about a quarter of the frequencies heard by the human ear are being eliminated by the B&O signal processor so the cheap paper speakers can better handle music. This is by far the worst sounding "premium" stereo system I have ever owned or even heard. I bought it one day before I left on a 650 mile drive to Tampa Florida from Asheville North Carolina (figured it would make the drive more comfy )Ībout half way through the trip, I had had enough, reached up to the dash and turned the radio off. I didn't find much info so I figured I would join and post a thread on how I wired the truck and how it sounds.įirst let me say, I have had this truck for 10 days. I simply sanded it down a bit and this is more or less the final product.New member to the Ecoboost forum, but I've been trolling the threads for a looking to see if anyone had replaced the B&O stereo system in the 2018 model trucks. This will help when you mount the template to the door for a little extra area for a bolt to go through.Īfter I made the necessary cuts, my template emerged. I repeated the same process as the washer and make the edges of the template a tad bit bigger. I used a dremel wheel (because I couldn't find a bigger washer. I squared off the speaker template by using a 90 degree angle ruler. This time, I inserted a pencil in the middle of washer and that provided a small amount of extra surface area for the 6x9. Then I took a washer and again, I traced around the speaker basket. As you can see in this picture, I have two of my 6x9's, my cross-overs and a small 1/2" sheet of birch wood.Īfter I was finished measuring out (rough measurements) of where each 6x9 template was going to be cut from, I took my wood outside and started cutting out the centers of my templates where the 6x9's will mount up.Īfter cutting the hole out, I made sure the speaker would physically fit inside the newly cut out hole.įor piece of mind, I traced around the speaker basket. In order to do that, I had to fabricate a make shift template out of cardboard (not shown) because Polk Audio did not include a 6x9 template with these speakers. The 7th Edition Highway Design Manual (HDM) establishes uniform policies and procedures to carry out the state highway design functions of the California Department of Transportation. Firstly adding a bit of traditional FFB effects added some vibrations, such as breaking and rumble strips which make the old RFactor tracks not feel so flat. For example, a MaxForceAtSteeringRack value of 100 is very high, and 500 is a low force value.Īdding a mix value of 80% served two functions. Changing the Real Feel values in the RealFeelPlugin.ini file works and saves a lot of confusion. This seems to be because I have a Logitech wheel that requires negative values, and the in-game shortcut adjusts the value only in the positive range. I also discovered that using the in-game Real Feel adjustments doesn't work. The bumps in the road are now much more noticeable, and I can more easily feel the front tire grip. By lowering this to around 7 degrees, raising the Real Feel MaxForceAtSteeringRack to 100, and then adjusting the Real Feel mix to 80%, I got a much more lively road feeling. The default castor angle of 15 degrees gives A nice stable FFB with a centering spring type of feel, you can take your hands off the wheel, and the car will travel straight. I tested the FFB for the V8s and found that the castor angle dramatically changes how the FFB feels, particularly around the center when traveling in a straight line. Textures IIRC aren't great and kerbs are the wrong colour (they are white and red, but should be white and blue) but that could be fixed fairly easily if we wanted to in the future. It's from LIDAR data, so the elevation and rough layout are correct. Possibly at darrellbennett dot wixsite dot com/ddr2017/rfactor1. So what should be used instead for races before 2012? Probably "Eastern Creek Laser", which is available on the Internet in various places. (As a relative newcomer to Australian motorsport, I'm still learning as I go about the history of how race formats and track layouts have changed ) See attached images to compare the layouts. in 20) used the old layout – which has a small right before the big left at what is now Turn 6, no tarmac runoff outside Turn 5, and none of the yellow/black Sydney Motorsport Park branding (e.g. Just had another similar realization about Eastern Creek – my preferred mod, XREasternCreek (which can be downloaded here) models the reconfigured track which debuted in 2012. I set it to 7° and it was much easier to adjust the FFB correctly. An example of Caster being an issue is the V8 Supercars use 15° of caster which is VERY HIGH. Instead of putting the Strength below 1000 or raising the divider above 8-9000 and risking over/under modulation try to adjust the Caster in the advanced tab to ~4-8 degrees. If you find a car has severely low or high FFB. The higher the caster the stronger the force you will have straitening the wheels out at speed. I found this tip, and I am doing a bit of testing on it.Ī SPECIAL NOTE!! The RealFeel plugin's force is most dependent on the suspension CASTER of the car you are using. I get this strange effect: sometimes, when I lose grip on the front, there is no way to recover, and I crash? In the meantime, I am still trying to improve the FFB on these cars. I will let you know what else we need to get better versions on. We are trying to make a track pack from 2007 to 2012. LMAO, that is pretty much our pastime as well. Here you will be able to spot all the notes that can be played on more than one slide position as well as the slight adjustments needed for certain notes on certain positions. Take a look at the Ultimate Trombone Slide Chart further down in the article. Sometimes it is more convenient to play an F on the 6th slide position instead of 1st. This is why trombone players use alternate positions. The higher the note, the more slide options there usually are. As I mentioned before, this means that several notes can be played on different slide positions. That means that these are the common notes found on the 2nd slide position:Īs you move to 3rd slide position, the first note will be Ab, etc. When you move the slide one position further out, the row of notes will be transposed down a minor second, just as if you move a capo one fret closer to the head on a guitar. This is all due to the physics of the trombone and the wavelengths of the individual notes. (slightly too large) minor third (slightly too large).octave (from the pedal Bb which is actually kind of a fake note, more on that another day). The observant reader might have noticed that the intervals get smaller and smaller as you go up in the range. As with many other notes on the trombone, it can be played on more than one slide position, and is usually played in 3rd slide position. Note that the Ab is too flat when played in first position. notes on first slide position on the trombone. You will probably need to be a professional trombone player to hit the very highest notes, and even if you can actually play them, you might not be able to put them into good use. The smaller the notes get, the harder they are to play. These are the notes you can play in 1st position. Your embouchure and strength and technique will set the limit. In theory, there is no upper limit for what notes you can play on any given slide position on the trombone (this goes for all brass instruments). And when trumpet players claim that C is their base note, they too are talking about Bb, just one octave above the trombone.) The notes on the first slide position When trumpet players say Bb they mean Ab. (Unlike trumpets that are transposing instruments, trombone players actually call the notes by their real name, so when we say Bb we mean Bb. The harmonic series on the first slide position starts on the tone Bb, usually considered the base note of the trombone. The notes are based on the harmonic series (or overtone series). The trombone has 7 slide positions, and you can play a selection of notes on each slide position. – the truth about the 7 trombone slide positions and where to find every note.
